The Hong Kong Startup Association (”HKSUA”) is an association dedicated to helping entrepreneurs in internet and technology startups build successful companies in Hong Kong and the Greater China region through information sharing, training, and education events which the Association plans to host.

The HKSUA was founded in August 2008 by members of Socialutions, in cooperation with a group of young like-minded US and Hong Kong entrepreneurs including members of Stepcase, 852Signal,  Womenpedia, Jadetower, Web Wednesday, and the creator of an entrepreneur group on Facebook.

The HKSUA encourages anyone with an interest in internet and technology in Hong Kong and the Greater China region to become members.

The Association plans to announce its formation at Barcamp Hong Kong (which we would encourage you all to attend) and will proceed to host its inaugural event shortly thereafter. A facebook group has been created and we welcome those with an interest to register.
