Thanks to everyone who attended and participated at our first HKSUA event at City University. The proceedings went smoothly and participants were able to listen to a variety of discussions ranging from the HKSUA’s roadmap, Edmon Chung of the Internet Society of Hong Kong sharing his experience and offering advice to startups and funding sources as well as Eddie Chua of Microsoft discussing their support for startup companies.

In addition we had a number of entrants to the business idea pitch competition with the winner being the founder of an e-card internet business who convinced the panel of his idea and left with an Xbox360 courtesy of Microsoft.

Thanks are due to Professor Chun of City University for providing the venue and souvenirs, Edmon Chung for his insight and to Microsoft for their sponsorship and presentation.
